A vida é assim, alguns dias ótimos e outros não tão bons assim.
Semana passada me detive na confecção de um quilt emergencial para uma das crianças do Love Quilts Brasil. Felizmente consegui aprontar o quilt em tempo record e encaminhá-lo para a voluntária do projeto que fará a entrega no Rio de Janeiro.
Esta semana, reduzi a marcha, pois meu ombro começou a doer e por experiência própria sabia que a dor traduzida em palavras queria dizer: "Devagar Ivani!" Então esta semana praticamente nem cheguei perto da máquina de costura.
Assim, mesmo sendo apenas 1 bloco ele tem, para mim um significado muito grande e estou feliz por poder mostrá-lo para vocês.

Sometimes it's like that. At some point you'll have a really productive week and it will all balance out. Meanwhile I love this star!
What a fun block with that crumb center!! Perhaps, I'll make a crumb-y center for my own Maverick Star this month... if there are enough scraps in my GRAY bin.

Your block is lovely and it sounds like you got a special quilt ready in record time. Sometimes our bodies dictate what we get to do and not do. Go slow.
